A Nice Old Chevy by TheMan268 A Nice Old Chevy by TheMan268
A Nice Old Chevy I saw in the parking lot of a real estate office. I believe it is a 1949 but I'm not 100% sure.

yep, that's a 49. In '50 they didn't have as many vertical bars in the lower grill opening. Great picture!

Such a beautiful vehicle! I'm hoping to get myself a 55' or 57' Bel Air one of these days. A girl can dream!

I loves me those Chevrolets from this era! I believe it is a 1949. The '48 was a different body and the '50 grille was distinctly different in the lower section. My Dad had a '52 black two door sedan back in the day and it was a great car. We had a great summer vacation in it, driving from Chicago to Montana and other points West. I was too young to know to tell my dad to save the car for me.

My first car was a 51' Chevy. I paid $100.00 for it and drove it to High School my Senior year. :)

You and me both...imagine if GM produced a modern-day version of this car?
