I don't know why people didn't have an interest in the Edsel. i think it was a wonderful car. It it shouts 1950's beauty, in my mind.

I thought so; They had several different styles and trims for the Edsel, about twenty known types when the 1958 Edsels debuted. Corsair, Ranger, Villager, Citation, etc.
By 1959 though, they dropped most of the names to satisfy customers. Along with the radical redesign (hence the 1958 Edsel looking much different than the 1959 Edsel)
