An Opel GT that I saw at a shop that restores Classic Cars.
There is a whole build thread on this car at OpelGT.com under "Opel GT restoration taken to the extreme". There is a lot of work under the hood as well.
Looks like it is in a good condition again
where's the shop?
There used to be a lot of them in the Chicago area but I have not seen one of these in years.
Would I be wrong if I were to say that Opel cars are the "European GMs", but mostly Chevys?
If I remember correctly, GM works with Opel and Vauxhall in the U.K. and Holden in Australia.
That would make sense. The cars usually resemble a lot. Is it a little like Ford Ranger and Toyota B-series? Or the Toyota Cavalier in Asia?
They used to call them a poor man's corvette.
A cute little thing
My father had a yellow one just like that when I was a boy. Brings back memories of me racing him home from the corner. Good times
Like a baby Corvette.
Nice one. My neighbor's older sister had one.
