I didn't know this until last month but there are four remaining covered bridges in Missouri (that's where I live) and I live not too far from one. I even took pictures of it. I didn't even know that Missouri even had covered bridges.
I read that there were 30 covered bridges in Missouri but now only four remain. The one that is close to me is called the Sandy Creek Covered Bridge. You can find more info here: [link]
